On way to de Havilland Museum we stopped at Green Dragon for lunch.
The Colne River, which has flooded the pub in the past, had stopped flowing and the large clear pond by the bridge which kids paddled in had shrunk to a muddy puddle.
I had a ciabatta sandwich with pork & leek sausages, whole grain mustard and onions and shared a bottle of 2021 Franschhoek Cellar Chenin Blanc La Cotte Mill with Krisie who, along with Joan, had pie of the day which was chicken and chorizo with golden chips.
