Criccieth

To Criccieth for four nights staying at Flat 3 (the top floor) Ty Clyd arriving Friday after slow journey caused by 3 separate accidents and lane closures on M1.

Saturday evening all the Starlight Players, in make up and costumes, were having their pre-show dinner packing The Prince of Wales. Our reservation came to nothing so we had a good Indian meal at The Spice Bank.

Robinson Crusoe Pantomime was probably the best we've seen with a large cast and several nice bits.

Sunday was the last show,  a matinee, and the hall had to be emptied, with costume and sets put in storage. So we cooked dinner for Dan & Krisie.

Monday rained all day, but cleared for our walk to Dylans for dinner with Stuart, Caroline, Elliot and Amy and Dan & Krisie.

To London to see Backstairs Billy

at Duke of York theatre on 

St Martin's Lane, as seen from the theatre's balcony. 

We had a seat in the goods with a clear sight of the stage but couldn't see much of the actors' facial expressions.

We came home via the Elizabeth Line from Tottenham Court Road, our first time on the new underground line and were impressed that at Farrington there was direct access to Thameslink.

And then an earlybird dinner at Chez Mumtaj.
