Lunch with Mike at Aspava

 Lunch today with Mike W at Aspava. Lovely hot day so we sat outside. There was a new lunch menu so for £10.90 we had two courses.

My first was Aspava-Style Falafel, which the menu describes as Fresh vegetable fritters containing mashed chickpeas, broad beans and served with hummus. A large basket of complimentary soft warm fluffy pitta bread came to the table and we also shared a carafe of Turkish red for £10.90.

Main course was Aspava Eggplant - Roasted eggplant, capia peppers, onions, tomatoes, garlic, served with rice.

Coffee afterwards. Delicious lunch, very welcoming service from owner/waiter, good company, short sleeve weather. Life's good.
