Lunch at The Old Mill at Rickmansworth. Super fish in beer batter and incredible chips, but the wine - Tummil Flat Savvie from Marlborough - was dull and oily.
Then a pleasant walk along the canal towpath where we saw a narrowboat was utilising a VW Touran car body as a cabin, to the Three Horseshoes at Winkwell for a pot of tea.
Only they'd 'run out of tea' (!!!) so we had coffee sitting outside by the canal, watching the swing road bridge being opened to let boats through..
